Claims Support Coordinator
A company is looking for a Claims Support Coordinator to facilitate communication between plan members, providers, and health insurance companies regarding claims issues.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide effective and timely customer service for members and providers regarding health care claimsNegotiate with providers and challenge denials of claims by the insurance companyAnalyze member billing complaints and collaborate with peers and management to resolve issuesRequired Qualifications1+ years of claims experience within hospital or large provider groups2+ years of Healthcare Collections and Accounts Receivable experienceMedical billing / coding certification (CPC) beneficial, but not requiredCollege degree preferred;
additional experience may substitute for educationProven track record of driving measurable efficiency results
