About the Company :
Our client is a global real estate company owning some of the most prominent privately owned real estate projects with over $50 billion in assets.
The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the daily accounting operations and financial reporting for the firms portfolio companies.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers, including account reconciliations
- Review and analyze the general ledger, and financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Assist in the preparation of the allocation of various expenses
- Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis
- Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
- Assist in the compilation of information for the overall company year-end audit
- Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall departmental goals and objectives
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-4 years of professional experience
- CPA a plus
- Knowledge of JD Edwards / Hubble reporting software a plus
