The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Undergraduate Programs office in all aspects of academic operations with an emphasis on study abroad.

Provide exemplary customer service to faculty, staff, and students. Be a self-motivated and multi-tasking individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations daily.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified;

or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Undergraduate Programs office in all aspects of academic operations as it relates to student activities.
  • Participates in outbound and inbound student recruiting and advising for a portfolio of affiliate and exchange programs for JSOM students.

Guide students and uphold policy for all JSOM Abroad activities including incoming exchange students, outgoing exchange students, and faculty-led trips.

  • Serves as a point of contact for JSOM students, JSOM academic advising, and JSOM partner universities / program providers before, during, and after student participation in JSOM Abroad activities.
  • Develops and / or facilitates advising sessions, training sessions, workshops, and assessment tools for program participants.
  • Helps promotes JSOM Abroad programs to current JSOM students by facilitating program information sessions, tabling events, workshops, etc.
  • Develops and maintains assigned program brochures, print materials, and application documents / processes for JSOM Abroad and other Undergraduate programs.
  • Provide outstanding student experience to ensure students' satisfaction while following university and school academic policies (e.

g., catalog, FERPA). Develop and maintain a series of FAQs and QAs to be used for answering students' questions.

  • Perform other related duties in the Undergraduate department as needed.
  • Participate in all events, and represent the department as needed

Additional Information

Remote Work Notice

A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employee must be located within the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and / or with 24-hour notice.

Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required.

Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
