CMT is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who can work in a leadership role within our geotechnical division in Centennial CO.
Responsibilities :
- Develop proposals and determine cost and schedule for investigations.
- Provide direction to technical team in field inspection activities. Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time.
- Evaluate team performance and determine training needs to meet performance objectives. Maintain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration programs effectively.
- Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects.
- Analyze geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations and prepare technical reports for review by other senior geotechnical engineers.
- Perform basic office administration tasks when needed.
Required Skills :
- Master of science in Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience within the State of Colorado.
- Proficient in soil mechanics.
- Must have detailed knowledge of both geotechnical and material testing / special inspection services.
- Must have existing client / revenue base for both geotechnical and material testing / special inspection services.
- Able to creatively apply engineering principals to solve new problems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in teams.
- Valid Colorado professional license (P.E.)
