Job Summary
Provides assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and education services for patients treated on an outpatient basis. Job Responsibilities
- Provides outpatient individual and family counseling.
- Systematically and continually assesses the patient's physical and mental condition in collaboration with the patient / family.
- Identifies and refers patients to appropriate community resources as needed.
- Provides educational sources for individuals and client groups.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology required upon hire OR
- Master's degree or higher in Clinical Social Work required upon hire OR
- Master's degree or higher in related field required upon hire
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
- Psychologist - Licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Kentucky / upon hire required upon hire OR
- Therapist - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Kentucky required upon hire OR
- CSW - Certified Social Worker in the State of Kentucky required upon hire AND
- LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Kentucky required within 36 months of employment in this position OR
- LPCA - Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Kentucky required upon hire AND
- LPCC - Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kentucky required within 36 months of employment in this position AND
- BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position OR
- Heartsaver CPR AED required within 90 days of employment in this position
