Job Summary :
Brightstar Care Hunterdon is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Registered Nurse (LPN) for a per diem position to provide high-quality patient care in Warren County.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring 15 month old with trach and vent dependency.
Responsibilities :
- Obtains vital signs, temperature, height / length, weight, oxygen saturation and pain scores; reports abnormal values to RN.
- Obtains other measurements (i.e., head circumference, abdominal girth) per unit standard.
- Responds to monitor alarms.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements :
- Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in infusions, and lab draws
- Proficient in inserting and maintaining peripheral IV lines
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a per diem basis, with the potential for variable shifts and locations
- Reliable transportation
