Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator. The Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator will be responsible for optimizing patients prior to surgery and following them throughout the episode of care.
The Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator will primarily be located at the Saint Raphael Campus in New Haven, CT, with work from home available for two days per week.
Will work with a strong and supportive team of navigators.
Qualifications
- Experience in acute care Orthopaedics
- Strong nursing skills and ability to provide patient education
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatments
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certification in Orthpaedics is beneficial
