CT and Xray Technologist Full Time Evenings Position Summary :

Evening shift with higher Weekend Commitment payrate : Friday-Sun : 3pm-3am

Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols in CT and diagnostic x-ray. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Participates in . activities. Must work with students from affiliated Radiologic Sciences schools.

CT AND XRAY TECH FULL TIME EVENINGS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Certified by the State of South Carolina to practice and administer radiation.

Must have or obtain CT certification within eighteen months of signing job description. One (1) year of experience under a board certified radiologist preferred.

Current BLS certification.

Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

Education :

Required : Graduate of accredited Imaging Program

Experience :

Preferred : 1-3 years

Certifications :

Required : ARRT (R) and documentation of CT training and experience; must obtain CT Registry within one year of hire; BLS;

state license if required
