What you’llachieve

As a Mechanical / SystemTechnical Staff, Engineering Technologist, you will be responsiblefor developing next generation data center infrastructure solutionsat the server, rack, and data center level.

You will workclosely with DELL CTO, sales teams, and customers to develop datacenter solutions. These solutions include next generationtechnologies for mechanical, direct liquid cooling, thermals, andpower.

Youwill :

Managemultiple programs at once, some at the customer solution level,others supporting new technologyinitiatives

Develop systemsolutions from Compute to Customer Data Center; design, develop,and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshootingsystems

Demonstrateengineering rigor and leadership across various disciplines,mechanical, power, andthermals

Work with internalcross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliers; present often to Dellleadership and externalcustomers

EssentialRequirements

15+years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with amaster’s degree

Experiencesolving complex thermal / mechanical problems from the IT hardwarelevel to the data centerlevel

Customer facingexperience; excellent written and verbal communication skillspresenting to leadership andcustomers

Efficient in theuse of CAD and various simulationsoftware

Deep knowledge ofhardware and software interactions, and ability to apply thisunderstanding to resolve issues quickly and effectively;

deepknowledge of Rack form factors, specifications, and industrystandards

Compensation

Dellis committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Thesalary range for this position is $203k -$248k.
