Job Summary :
The RN - CVOR plays a crucial role in surgical services within the Cardiovascular Operating Room, providing specialized care to open-heart patients.
This position involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile procedures, and collaborating effectively with the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct surgical services as part of the operating room (OR) team.
- Work within specialized areas dedicated to treating cardiovascular patients.
- Ensure compliance with sterile procedures, availability of necessary equipment and medications, and overall patient safety.
- Participate in patient care, clinical decision-making, monitoring, and CVOR coordination.
- Maintain one or more years of current experience within the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with an active license in the state(s) of employment.
Certifications :
- Current BLS / BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Certification : Basic life support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
