Job details As a Bus Seat Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling high-quality bus seats that meet safety standards and customer specifications.

You will work with various materials and machinery to produce durable and comfortable seating solutions for public transportation vehicles.

Responsibilities :

Seat Assembly : ... Assemble bus seat frames using tools and machinery. Install cushioning, upholstery, and other components according to design specifications.

Ensure proper alignment and secure fittings of all seat parts.

Material Handling :

Select and prepare materials for seat construction, including metal frames, foam, fabric, and hardware.

Measure and cut materials accurately to specifications.

Quality Control :

Inspect completed seats for defects or inconsistencies.

Conduct tests to ensure seats meet safety and durability standards.

Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure high-quality output.

Machine Operation :

Operate and maintain various machinery, including sewing machines, cutting tools, and hydraulic presses.

Follow safety protocols and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Documentation :

Record production data and track progress.

Document any issues encountered during the fabrication process.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any production issues or improvements.

Compliance :

Adhere to industry standards and regulations regarding bus seat manufacturing.

Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Working hours : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Skills :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field is a plus.

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a similar role preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate various tools and machinery.

Knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials is advantageous.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
