Job Title : Supervisor Accounting PRA Revenue Supervisor (Oil)
Department : Revenue Accounting
Summary : The Accounting Supervisor for Oil Revenue supervises staff and the daily operations of the crude oil revenue accounting department.
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for helping with operational strategies that directly influence the processes and functions within their area of responsibility and will manage and maintain the adequacy of the internal control environment.
Furthermore, the Accounting Supervisor will participate in the internal and external audit process, working with the external audit firm and internal business process owners as necessary.
The Accounting Supervisor will exhibit an experienced level of knowledge within the functional area.

They will be expected to anticipate and surface issues, solve problems and recommend solutions, while exercising good business judgment and risk management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Train, develop and supervise revenue accountants for Diamondback Energy, its subsidiaries and department employees
- Oversee processes for booking revenue, performing reconciliations, analysis, and calculating and distributing owner royalty checks
- Responsible for the development, documentation, and adherence to company policies and procedures as it relates to the revenue department
- Assist in the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of an appropriate system of internal controls to sustain the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance
- Prepare and review monthly analytics reports
- Coordinate and review internal and external audit requests and follow-up
- Lead and oversee special projects, as needed, including A&D activity, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Land requests
- Provide comprehensive updates to senior management
- Assist in the development of employees assigned to the department
- Foster and support the company culture
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent discipline
- Five (5+) or more years of experience in accounting or similar leadership roles
- Strong working knowledge of revenue accounting and general accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications :
- CPA preferred
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with an Oil and Gas upstream company
- Experience working within the PRA module of SAP
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills
- Process oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible regarding workload and priorities
- Communication skills to effectively work with all levels of an organization
