The hours for this role are 2 : 30pm-11pm
The hourly rate for this position is $32.00 per hour.

What you’ll do : Position Overview
Position Overview
The Ducting Welder is responsible for performing Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on various alloys to fabricate duct assemblies within the Aerospace Industry. Essential Functions
- Fabricate details and duct assemblies by scribing, cutting, and grinding to tight tolerances per blueprint.
- Weld using gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) on Inconel, Stainless Steel, and possibly titanium alloys having a thickness range of .020 to .125 per AWS D17.1.
- Ensure quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurement using a variety of hand tools and gauges.
- Provide mentorship and onboarding support for new hires and provide training support when needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S+ activities, and engage in safe work practices by wearing PPE, following work instructions, and reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications : Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Gas Tungsten Arc welding on Inconel and / or Stainless with thickness ranging from .
020 to .125 OR completion of welding degree / certification.
- Authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

- Position requires strong math skills and ability to read / interpret engineering drawings.
- Certification to, AWS specification D17.1 is necessary.
- Strong visual inspection skills are required.
- Experience with band saw, belt sander, chop saw, rotary tools / grinders and handheld inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, pi tape, loops, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand 8 hours a day
- Must be able to read and write English
