Responsibilities :
- Lead / managethe production of presentation materials technical reports andletters and other project deliverables for planning andplanningrelated projects
- Develop / leadcommunity engagementactivities
- Develop / leaddata collection andanalysis
- Manageprojectbudgets
- Developstrategies to promote economic and community development addresshousing challenges promote efficient land use consistent withcommunity goals improve streetscapes and mobility and advance othercommunityinitiatives
- Work withinternal / external teams including municipalities in the areaowners / developers architects landscape architects engineeringtrades contractors and communityorganizations
- Interpret / applyapplicable codes ordinances and regulations (state county andlocal)
- Assistwith proposal preparation and fee estimates for potentialprojects
- Supervisejuniorstaff
- Representorganization at networking events conferences public meetings andwithin thecommunity
Requirements :
- Masters degree in urban or regional planning urban studies urban designarchitecture engineering landscape architecture geography orrelated field ofstudy
- 3years of planningexperience
- 5years of experience for SeniorPlanner
- AmericanInstitute of Certified Planners (AICP)certification
- Knowledgeof methodology principles and practices of planning research anddatacollection
- Familiar withmunicipal planning / zoning administratoractivities
- Knowledgeof development processes real estate finance incentives and otherpublic approvalspreferred
- Proficientwith tools such as Adobe Creative Suite ArcGIS AutoCAD and BluebeamRevu
Salary iscommensurate withexperience.
