REPAIR ROOFING ESTIMATOR NEEDED!

• Minimum of 3yrs Experience in Residential & Commercial Roofing Applications
• Spanish & English (Required)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Repair Roofing Estimator to join our team in South Florida. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of hands-on experience in estimating for commercial, tile, and metal residential roofing projects, particularly within South Florida residential homes' unique climate and architectural styles.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, and Saturdays as needed.

WHO WE ARE

We are an 18 year old roofing company that primarily installs residential, retail roofing applications. Our focus is on tile roofs, and our main customer base is comprised of retirees and clients who own second homes in Florida.

Until recently, our business has always been referrals, as we did not previously do any advertising. We have a customer first attitude, and we are known for this in our area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Estimating : Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for roofing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Estimate Preparation : Prepare bid proposals based on project requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Site Visits : Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential challenges.
• Project Coordination : Collaborate with repair crew and field supervisors to ensure seamless project execution from estimation through completion.
• Team Leadership : Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Continual Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best roofing estimation and construction practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Roofing Estimator, focusing on commercial and residential tile and metal roofing systems.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in South Florida.
• Organized, detailed, and thorough in planning and execution.
• Team / role / substitute player that will do whatever needs to be done to get the job completed.
• Possesses a high set of moral and ethical standards in business dealings.
• Demonstrates proficiency in using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction-related packages.
• Strong business, presentation, and construction math skills.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter
• Clean driving record and clean criminal history record
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a must
