Our client, a NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company, is seeking a Senior Flexographic Printing Specialist to play a crucial role in their Graphics Solutions business unit.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of world-class customer experiences in the flexographic printing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of new and existing plate materials for printers
- Conduct pre-press, platemaking, and press process audits
- Provide technical support and training for digital products
- Organize and lead optimization, fingerprint, and characterization trials
- Troubleshoot issues in platemaking and press operations
- Collaborate with commercial leaders on technical strategies
- Support R&D efforts through analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphics communications or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the flexography industry, particularly in flexo photopolymer plates
- Expert knowledge of Esko software and hardware workflow
- Proficiency in color management and measurement tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel 70%+ of the time, including internationally
