We are a growing, Award Winning Legal Firm, looking to bring on a Construction Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone with 2+ years of litigation experience, in addition to experience to previous construction legal experience.
Requirements :
- 2+ years of construction legal experience
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing
- JD degree from an ABA approved school
- Persuasive writing skills
Responsibilities :
- Draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, demurrers
- Research and prepare motions, including dispositive motions
- Draft and respond to written discovery and discovery motions
- Conduct and defend fact and expert witness depositions
- Attend court hearings and argue motions
- Prepare trial documents and submissions
