Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor at a Tier I Supplier. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of production during the weekend shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting production goals.
This is a Friday to Sunday Day Shift and Monday Night Shift opening.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production teams during the weekend shift, ensuring adherence to safety and production standards
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve weekly production targets
- Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and efficiency
- Collaborate with management and other departments to resolve production-related challenges
- Document and report on production metrics and team performance during the weekend shift
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar capacity within manufacturing
- Ability to work effectively during the weekend shift
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production metrics
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
