Salary : $15 to $18 per week, paid weekly

Position Type : Individual Contributor

Job Summary :

As a Shop Dispatcher at Jenkins Kia of Ocala, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

You will be responsible for dispatching work to technicians, coordinating repair timelines, and communicating with customers.

This is a fast-paced and challenging position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the auto industry.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and review service orders from customers and determine work priorities
• Assign work to technicians based on their skill level, experience, and current workload
• Monitor repair timelines and provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicle
• Communicate with technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth flow of work and timely completion of repairs
• Keep accurate records of repair schedules, work orders, and customer communication
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts for repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in the auto industry
• Strong knowledge of auto repair procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
