This role will support the financial operations for the Provider Solutions segment. The role will focus on developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control and performing analyses to determine present and future financial performance.
This role will also gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a strategic business partner to functional areas by providing financial analysis to support business operations and thought leadership
- Develop monthly forecasts : track and analyze department submissions and variances, changes in business drivers, and other business activity affecting the financials.
Ensure data submissions are complete within financial systems
- Prepare monthly reports and variance analysis to provide insight to operating performance.
- Create financial models for strategic and annual planning that simulate business operations and performance
- Assist functional groups in identifying key operating metrics that best defines their performance and setup measurements to monitor results
- Project management assist in setting up new business initiatives (billing, new materials, profit centers)
- Complete various ad hoc requests, e.g. develop standardized templates and reporting packages, identify process improvement potential, communicate across various cross-functional teams, and investigate finance system enhancement opportunities
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education :
BS in Accounting or Finance
Critical Skills
- 4+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
- Problem solving and analytical skills - ability to identify the root cause of issues, propose possible solutions or improvements and influence ultimate decision
- Ability to work with and communicate with all organization levels, including senior management; ability to present and explain financial information to non-finance professionals
- Team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Communications : Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communications skills
Salary : 78,400.00 - 104,500.00 - 130,600.00 USD Annual
Additional Knowledge & Skills :
- Thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems
- Large ERP system experience desired
- Technical Finance Knowledge Demonstrates the knowledge of and applies relevant GAAP, emerging accounting and finance issues, other applicable or emerging regulation standards, and corporate governance requirements.
