Mennenga Tax & Financial is an upbeat, well-respected tax and financial firm located on Madison's east side. We currently have an opening for a full-time, experienced Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of the Tax Department.

Job duties include but not limited to :
- Coordinate tax staff and assess their performance
- Train and educate tax advisors
- Set up tax software for all advisors
- Oversee all aspects of tax season
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process by keeping current with Tax Law
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Complete 250-300 tax returns
- Provide innovative tax planning and strategize with each client to minimize tax liability
- Tax Planning for future years
Job requirements :
- Positive attitude & Team orientated
- Knowledgeable in using Drake Tax Software
- Comfortable being the primary communication between the firm and Drake Tax Software
- Experience in Business, Trusts, and Estates a plus
- Proven work experience with a minimum, 2 years experience in tax preparation
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
Due to the nature of our business, all advancing candidates will be required to pass a FINRA background check and fingerprinting.
