Men, Women and Family Shelters throughout New York City are seeking dedicated, and dependable team players to join their Maintenance team.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Sweeping and mopping the floors
- Changing lightbulbs
- Vacuuming the carpet
- Lite Painting
- Moving furniture
- Trash disposal
- Cleaning apartments
- Minor repairs
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Minimum of at least 1-2 years previous maintenance / custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a shelter environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Schedule :
- 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is needed.
