Compensation :
$50,000 - $65,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of assigned cases, from start to finish
- Draft discovery, pleadings, settlement agreements, correspondence, affidavits, financial declarations, and other legal documents
- Prepare for hearings and trials, organize exhibits, file motions, coordinate witnesses
- Coordinate activities with court personnel, court reporters, and process servers
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as family law or litigation paralegal
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with Clio is a plus
- Ability to work in (what can be) a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Be a self-starter and exhibit a willingness to proactively manage your assigned cases
