Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an IT Systems Engineer to assist with our company. As an IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's IT infrastructure.
This includes hardware, software, networks, and other related systems. You will assist the team with all IT systems, providing technical support to users and collaborating with other IT professionals to implement and optimize IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- A primary responsibility in this position will be to migrate & maintain our Cloud services. This includes the following :
- Analyze company goals / objectives and advise on appropriate cloud technology.
- Identify opportunities to deploy, optimize, and protect critical applications / data storage.
- Builds best practices around procurement / integration.
- Manage all company data securely across multi-cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with security policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to engineering staff, assisting them with software installations, & configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to design and implement IT projects and initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of relative work experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft365 and desktop operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
