Under the guidance of the SVP of Finance, the finance team is motivated to elevate the way they support the business. Through a consultative approach, the finance team partners with the business to give them the tools to make impactful decisions for the organization.

Reporting directly to the VP, Finance, the AVP, Finance role leads the financial planning and analysis function for various business units at LPL Financial.

The AVP, Finance partners with the business on providing decision-making support to investments and resources, forecast analysis, and effective budgeting and reporting through fact-based analysis of key metrics and thoughtful recommendations.

Responsibilities :

  • Be the primary point person interfacing between the Finance organization and various business units within Technology.
  • Oversee budgeting and monthly forecasting including recommendations for improved financial performance.
  • Provide senior management with insights into expense drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Present variance analysis results to senior management and recommend actions to meet budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all financial processes, leveraging technology and staffing resources.
  • Prepare and review financial analysis such as new business opportunities, operating platforms, pricing alternatives for presentation to leadership of the various business units, CFO, and other members of the Management Committee.
  • Audit and review of financial models to ensure they are both accurate and updated to reflect changing business needs.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • BA / BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA or CFA a plus

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and operations
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong quantitative skills along with the ability to take complex factors and create concise decision-supporting analyses
  • Ability to balance a strategic thinking process with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and a solid team player ability to work effectively with other parts of Finance and develop a strong consultative relationship throughout the business

Preferences :

  • Technology Finance and / or Infrastructure Finance Support experience preferred
  • Prior experience within a professional services firm or FP&A organization a plus

Pay Range : $96,900.00 - $161,500.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
