Job Description
- Receiving and unloading of incoming shipments
- Loading trucks for outgoing deliveries
- Assemble customer / driver orders including pulling cases, building pallets or racks, preparing for shipment and checking for pick accuracy
- Maintain inventory control, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Moving and parking company box trucks in yard
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe, clean and maintained at all times; report any safety or deficiencies to management
- Maintain personal, driving and food safety standards in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures
- Deliver product direct to stores and / or customer warehouse, whenever needed
- Perform other duties or responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to use material handling equipment, specifically a forklift and pallet jack
- Valid Driver’s License and no major driving infractions background check will be conducted
- Ability to drive an 18 to 24 foot box truck, with liftgate (no Commercial Driver’s License required)
- Move product weighing up to 50lbs
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both internally and externally
- Good math and communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English
- An enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, resourceful team player is a must
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and Apple-based products (iPhone)
Pay Rate : $21.00 / hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
