Belle Creek provides its students with a rich and immersive learning experience in grades Kindergarten - Eighth grade. K-3 students are taught using the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is a direct, explicit, systematic, and sequential instruction, incorporating multi-sensory learning.

This instruction aligns with the Science of Reading.

We provide several levels of support for students and teachers by having instructional paraprofessionals and in-house Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education coordinators.

Additionally, we have special service providers for Speech and Language, Occupational and Physical Therapy, and a comprehensive mental health team.

What position is BCCS looking to fill?

We are seeking a dedicated Substitute Teachers for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Jobs are filled on an as-needed basis.

Salary Range :

Full Day : $125.00 (4 or more hours per day), Half Day $62.50 (less than 4 hours)

Required Qualifications :

• Applicants must hold a current teaching license and / or a current substitute license.
• The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
• The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respected and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)
• The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
• A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
