Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Cath Lab procedures. Communicates and works independently in performing all Special procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Sky Ridge Medical Center.
Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards.
Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.
Must be willing to cross-train to one or more additional modalities such as Special Procedures as required.
Requirements :
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license or current registration as Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR), or current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or current certification as Registered Radiologist (ARRT).
- Current BCLS certification, current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or ALS certification from American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, or accredited RTR and / or RCIS training program.
- 2 years-experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN) or 2 years-experience in interventional radiology procedures (RTR) preferred or 2 years-experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (RCIS) or 2 years-experience as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT) preferred.
