Preferred Home Care of New York , a fully licensed Home Care Agency is seeking an experienced , Field Recruiter, who has experience with community-based field recruiting, and has both strong networking and relationship building skills.
We have our eye out for a candidate that is self-motivated and is passionate about enabling others to gain meaningful employment opportunities.
POSITION SUMMARY :
This is a field-based position. Where the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work independently to recruit HHA’s.
The Field recruiter will be supported by a professional team of inhouse onboarding specialists that will work to ensure all leads are followed up on and fully onboarded.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum of two (2) years of field-based healthcare recruiting experience preferably in home care.
- Comfortable with applicant tracking systems or HHA exchange, Microsoft Word and Excel, and the Internet.
- Outstanding relationship building skills
- Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify new recruiting sources on an ongoing basis
- Attend hiring events, community-based events, and employee referral events within the community and at Preferred Home Care
- Promote positive community relations and partner with, placement agencies, social service agencies, one-stop employment centers, local colleges, places of worship, etc.
to ensure a consistent ongoing pool of HHA candidates
- Maintain a database of clients / vendors and keep detailed information of all contacts.
- Maintain a strong rapport with external field candidates and internal recruiting team leaders to prioritize the agency’s needs
