Missile Body Operations (MBO) Group is seeking a Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Production Controller at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, Washington.
The Production Controller roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform functions to control movement of equipment, material, parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and complete missiles within a dynamic processing environment.
- Collect and analyze operational data for ongoing
projects and planning.
Development and monitoring of project progress for
intervention and problem solving with project
managers, line managers and customers.
- Creation and manipulation of spreadsheets.
- Assess production processes to determine areas for
improvement in cost and time.
Serve as liaison between planning, project
management, project team and line management.
Inventory of property, parts kits, flight hardware and
hazardous materials.
- Support of contract proposal efforts.
- Assessment of storage records for missiles, flight
hardware, support equipment and material handling
equipment.
Assist Building Officer / Building Group Lead.
Desired skills
- Previous SWF or related production experience.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication and team
building skills.
