Civil Engineer Project Manager

Gpac, a 30+ year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Civil Engineering industry. Our client, a fast-growing family company, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Water Resource Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain client relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and meet organizational goals
• Conduct business development tasks, including identifying, selling, and delivering meaningful work for your team
• Oversee and manage projects that improve communities, including Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies, engineering analysis / design, I / I programs, and real-time monitoring
• Develop and review project proposals and scopes of work to meet clients' schedule and budget
• Manage your team's utilization and weekly workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and meet client needs
• Grow and develop staff through training and mentorship
• Coordinate labor and equipment resources and hiring needs as workloads require

Essential Job Functions :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer certification required
• Experience in water resources and wastewater or transportation
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS, InfoSWMM, and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, WEG, APWA, and AWWA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
• Proven leadership ability to build alliances with leadership, teams, and customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Position Skills :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in using design software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
