We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Account Manager to manage client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure project success.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Electrical Account Manager will oversee client accounts, manage relationships, and ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest standard.

You will serve as one of the primary points of contact between clients and the company, ensuring that all client needs are met in the preconstruction process and collaborating closely with the project team so that the project timelines, budgets, and expectations are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-voltage electrical systems and project management and a passion for delivering quality and safety in every job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Client Relationship Management :
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams in the early stage of the project.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Identify new business opportunities and upsell additional services where appropriate, specific to high voltage utility customers.
• Address client concerns and troubleshoot issues proactively to maintain positive client relationships.
• Sales & Business Development :
• Drive sales growth by creating a strategic, targeted approach, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and prospecting for new clients.
• Develop and present proposals, bids, and pricing strategies to secure new projects.
• Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to position the company as the preferred high-voltage contractor.
• Preconstruction liaison
• Coordinate and manage high-voltage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular updates to clients.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures on all projects.
• Technical Consultation :
• Provide clients with technical guidance and recommendations on high-voltage electrical solutions.
• Work with the division manager, project manager, and engineering teams to develop custom solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in high-voltage electrical systems, equipment, and standards.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory, with significant industry experience).

Experience : 5+ years of experience in account management or project management within the electrical or construction industry, with a focus on high-voltage systems.

Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.

Sales Skills : Proven ability to drive sales growth, develop relationships, and close deals in a competitive environment.

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently.

Team Player : Ability to work effectively with internal teams, such as engineers, field technicians, and senior management.

Travel : Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as required.

This role will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, work closely with the High Voltage Division Manager, and collaborate extensively with the High Voltage and ICC teams.
