Position Overview : The Senior Manager of Human Resources will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
This role is critical in aligning our HR strategy with the company's business objectives, ensuring a high-performance culture, and driving continuous improvement in HR policies and practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within the construction industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic HR Leadership :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Provide strategic HR advice to senior management and act as a business partner to support organizational goals.
- Training and Development :
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Implement leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Manage workplace safety and health programs in coordination with the safety department.
- Compensation and Benefits :
- Oversee the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- HR Metrics and Reporting :
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. A Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, within the construction industry.
- Certifications : Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
