This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an opening for a Part-Time Ultrasonographer to work in our Jacksonville, FL office. The hours are Monday-Friday 7am-12pm.
How You'll Contribute :
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our job. In general, the Ultrasonographer is responsible for :
- Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy / pathology
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations
- Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records
- Establishes personal rapport with patients
- Provides explanations of procedures
What You'll Bring :
The skills and education we need are :
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
- RDMS / RVT required
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
- Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health
