We're seeking a visionary Senior Embedded Software Engineering Manager to spearhead our next generation of 3D printing solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Drive Innovation : Partner with Product Management to conceptualize, develop, and launch groundbreaking capabilities for our 3D printing systems.
• Lead an Elite Team : Manage and inspire a team of 7-10 top-tier embedded software developers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Shape Business Strategy : Participate in high-level business planning for our plastics business unit, influencing the direction of our product line.
• Modernize Legacy Systems : Lead cross-functional initiatives to evolve our existing systems, ensuring our technology remains cutting-edge.
• Oversee Critical Projects : Act as both a people manager and project manager, steering complex software projects from conception to delivery.
• Develop Cutting-Edge Software : Create and maintain sophisticated embedded software for both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Mentor Future Innovators : Guide and develop new engineering talent, fostering the next generation of 3D printing pioneers.
• Drive Agile Excellence : Collaborate with technical leads and program managers to optimize our Agile development processes.

What You Bring to the Table :

• Educational Foundation : Required : BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field; Preferred : MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Professional Expertise : Extensive track record in software development, with significant focus on embedded software solutions;
• Proven leadership experience as a seasoned technical team lead or manager; Deep knowledge of C++ programming and source control methodologies;
• Proven track record with Agile software development practices; Passion for 3D printing technology, control systems, and hardware / software interfaces;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Inspirational leadership style that influences and provides clear direction;
• Mastery of software scheduling, planning tools, and processes; Consistent record of high-quality, on-time deliverables; Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and make critical decisions swiftly;
• Talent for motivating teams and fostering a shared vision; Proficiency in C++ programming; Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies;

Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA for bug tracking and Sprint management.
