Position : Warehouse, Delivery Driver, Forklift Operator

Location : South Vegas (i-15 freeway @ Blue Diamond)

Hours : 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm

Schedule : Monday through Friday (OT & weekends very little if any)

Starting Pay : $21.00 / per hour

Position : temp-to-hire (Fulltime, long-term employment)

This position will also include driving off site and delivering equipment and / or parts to job sites throughout southern Nevada and northern Arizona and possibly Utah.

Requirements :

Must be forklift certified and working experience. (Forklift type : Sit-down Hyster 50 fortis)

Must have prior experience driving a F450 flatbed with lift gate, or similar.

Must have current valid driver license.

Must be able to climb ladder 6 to 8 feet without assistance, as the parts inventory is on vertical racks.

Must be able to lift 75lbs without assistance.

Must have 2 or more years of prior material handling, cycle counting, inventory control, shipping, scheduling, time management, computer skills, electronic filing, reporting, excellent communication skills with team, management and vendors, equipment maintenance recording and scheduling maintenance down time, as well as daily Safety minded and OSHA Safety training.

Summary :

Prior experience driving and delivering of equipment, clean driving record.

Prior experience operating Forklift and Forklift certification training.

Lead and performs various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of HVAC equipment.

Primary contact for warehousing, customer service, and local transportation issues.

Using material handling equipment, inbound and outbound shipments, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into / out of warehouse racks and between locations,

Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL).

Work with local and regional freight companies (setup times, hot shots, etc.).

Safely operates assigned material handling equipment.

Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition.

Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory.

Determines accurate material quantities by cycle counting.

Receives material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate / pick material to / from warehouse locations as required.

Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data fields entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, location.

Resolves discrepancies with material quantities, part numbers; Locates parts insuring that pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking and equipment are not damaged, and material is not left in aisles.

Satisfies demands of internal customers to include the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported shop.

Delivers high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested.

Practices safe material handling techniques.

Completes training as required, including safety training, certification and testing.

Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all functions of the job.

Assists with the training and on-boarding of warehouse associates.

Performs housekeeping as assigned.

May be required to purchase warehouse supplies to maintain building.

Assist in annual warehouse inventory.

Flexibility to work overtime / weekends, as needed (very little).
