Let It Grow, Inc., a leader in landscape and site construction, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

This pivotal role involves managing projects valued between $500,000 and $25 million, covering a broad spectrum from small to large-scale endeavors.

Our projects include diverse settings such as universities, healthcare facilities, shopping malls, office buildings, retail spaces, luxury residential environments, parks, and open spaces.

The scope of work includes grading and earthwork, site utilities, site electric, cast-in-place concrete, complete streetscapes, luxury residential roof amenity spaces, ground-up parks and other site / civil scope items.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for :

Project Planning and Scheduling :

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Resource Coordination :

Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and coordinate with teams to ensure all materials and equipment are available as needed.

Budget Management and Analysis :

  • Monitor and report on budget allocations and expenses to ensure the project remains within financial guidelines.
  • Conduct budget analysis to forecast project expenditures and make adjustments as necessary.

Compliance and Documentation :

  • Manage the compliance process for all project submittals, ensuring all shop drawings, samples, and mockups are approved according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain a systematic approach to handling the submittal process, including logging, tracking, and storing all relevant documentation.

Quality Control :

Monitor project deliverables and implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with quality standards and adherence to design documents.

Communication and Reporting :

  • Keep all stakeholders informed about project progress and issues, particularly in terms of project scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation like reports, trackers, and project dashboard updates.

Risk Management :

Analyze risk and implement risk mitigation strategies. Regularly update risk registers and communicate potential impacts to project managers.

Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Solicit and vet vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure contractual conditions are met.

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, licenses, and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of necessary permits.

Project Closeout :

  • Assist in compiling project closeout documents, ensuring all project documents are properly signed off, completed, and archived.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Onsite Coordination :

Occasionally visit project sites to review progress and resolve issues onsite. Ensure that projects adhere to safety standards and that the workforce is compliant with regulations.

The ideal Let It Grow candidate will have the following :

  • 1-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in landscape or site construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Industries, or a related field.
  • Procore experience (or similar program)
  • Possesses excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • AutoCAD or similar design program proficiency
  • Exhibits strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
