Position Summary
Maxwell Museum of Anthropology-Pueblo Pottery Exhibit Project Assistant :
In collaboration with Pueblo artists and community members, the Project Assistant will assist the Ethnology and Exhibit Curators (and other museum staff as appropriate) to prepare materials for a major exhibition of the Maxwell Museum’s permanent collection of Pueblo pottery.
Tasks will include correspondence and communications; tracking of objects and A / V materials, including documentation of Native terms;
and other curatorial, exhibition, and collections management tasks as assigned. This 10-month position (20 hrs wk, through summer 2025) is funded by a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation’s Program in American Art.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
