Workschedule : Monday - Friday, with Saturdayrotation

We have an exciting opportunity for anLPN to join our General Pediatrics office!

Under the direction of the attending physician,nursing supervisor, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator, the LPNwill provide direct patient care and assist in the followingclinical functions to allproviders.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities :

• Obtainsand accurately record patient's vitalsigns
• Documents components of patient'shistory
• Communicates in an open and appropriatemanner with patients, visitors andstaff
• Participates in in-office proceduresunder the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcareprovider
• Performs diagnostic CLIA waivedtesting
• Performs venipuncture to obtain bloodfor lab testing
• Prescription call-backs perscope of practice
• Preps patient's chart forpertinent clinical information
• Maintainsinventory of supplies, and keeps patient examination roomsstocked
• Adheres to AMC's regulatory complianceissues

Qualifications :

• HighSchool Diploma / G.E.D. - required
• Previousexperience in a patient care setting -preferred
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Ability to effectivelypresent information and respond to questions from physicians,patients and their family members or other employees within thework setting.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse -State Licensure Upon Hire -required
