Chaupain Bakery is looking for an experienced full-time Bakery Kitchen Leader to join our team in Laguna Hills, CA. In this role, you will lead our bakery kitchens, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety across multiple locations.

ABOUT THIS BAKERY KITCHEN LEADER JOB
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that will vary based on the needs of our bakery kitchens. The schedule may include shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction.
As a Bakery Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for developing and refining menus that reflect French culinary traditions, incorporating modern trends and seasonal, local ingredients.
You will manage bakery kitchens across multiple locations, focusing on consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
Your duties will include recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, developing work schedules, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety will be paramount, as will implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
Additionally, you will manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maintain budgetary goals, monitoring food and labor costs and adjusting operations as needed to meet financial targets.
You will also interact with customers to understand their preferences and feedback, ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
Collaborating with event coordinators, you will plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
Would you excel in this position? Here's what you need :
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
- 10+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least five years in a leadership role
- Experience in managing kitchen operations across multiple locations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Food safety certification and other relevant culinary certifications
- Passionate about French cuisine and culinary arts
- Creative and innovative approach to menu development
