Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5 - Food for Jersey Center Medical Center part of the RWJ Barnabas Health System located in Jersey City, New Jersey .

Jersey City Medical Center is located on a 15-acre campus and includes both the Wilzig Hospital and the Provident Bank Ambulatory Center.

This medical center serves as a regional referral, teaching hospital and provides renowned care for cardiac patients, women and infants, and those in need of emergency services.

The successful candidate will :

• have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
• achieve company and client financial targets;
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) and management (salaried) staff;
• ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

• demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs;
• have healthcare or long-term care experience.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Basic Management Experience - 5 years.

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years.
