Technology Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Client’s Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team is looking to hire a Technology Strategic Sourcing Analyst who will support the sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for the business teams in IT service and product categories that may include Software, Hardware, Network, SaaS, IaaS and other direct or indirect requirements on a local or global scale.

The primary objective of this position is to maximize the value and minimize the risk associated with contracts and procurement-related activities.

This role will partner closely with the stakeholders and guide them throughout the entire sourcing process, from defining requirements & scope, to leading negotiations, and through contracting.

The Analyst will work closely with the contracts team on negotiating commercial terms for project-level agreements (Statement of Work, Engagement Letters, etc).

We are looking for a strong candidate who is proactive, organized, and works well within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Manage entire lifecycle of sourcing projects from end-to-end
• Collaborate with G&A business partners to identify requirements and lead supplier selection activities including conducting RFI’s, RFP’s, market assessments, etc
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their objectives and align procurement initiatives with their business requirements
• Conduct internal / external data analysis and provide recommendations based on the analysis
• Ensure adherence to compliance regulations in accordance with Client’s Sourcing and Procurement policies and procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with contract management / legal, security, and business teams
• Manage contract renewals schedule and maintain updated documentation in the contract repository
• Develop category strategy plans and manage key supplier relationships
• Aim to deliver maximum value across the complete procurement process while minimizing risk
• Support M&A integrations with contract consolidation efforts

Requirements :

• 3+ years of shown experience in Sourcing and Procurement of Technology (Hardware, Software, Telecom, SaaS etc.) category management, strategic sourcing, consulting, vendor management, risk management and / or procurement in a large, global company environment (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and contracting best practices
• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay process and vendor management principles
• Great communicator with good interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Proficiency with analytics and reporting
• Experience working in SCOUT / Workday Strategic Sourcing, COUPA, Ironclad is a plus
• Proficiency in MS office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
