Responsibilities :
- Provides a broad range of therapeutic and psychiatric social work services to mentally or emotionally disturbed patients.
- Acts as a liaison with hospitals, clinics, referral sources, and other medical professionals / centers affiliated with the facility.
- Collaborates with psychiatric and interdisciplinary teams in diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Assess relative, cognitive, behavioral or emotional problems.
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications or Skill Required : Master's degree in human services field.
Experience : One to two years of experience or related experience, preferably in community mental health.
Licenses, Certifications, registrations : Current State of Michigan, LLMSW, LMSW (Licensed Master's Social Work) or LLPC, or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).
