Additive Applications Specialist 2D Position Summary :
We are looking to fill the role of 2-dimensional processing technician. This position focuses on processing / cutting various materials on equipment such as a laser cutter and waterjet.
We are seeking a 2D Technician to join our team. The person who fills this role will be responsible for processing / cutting various materials using equipment such as a laser cutter and a waterjet.
This person will be responsible for the equipment's safe setup, operation, and maintenance. We move fast and are looking for an individual with the drive to find quick, efficient methods to go from a digital file to a cut part.
Additive Applications Specialist 2D Responsibilities :
Responsible for programming and operating laser cutter and waterjet.
Responsible for part quality and inspection.
Meet time and scheduling standards for assigned work. Minimum Qualifications :
2 to 5 years of experience in a prototyping environment.
Experience with CAM software and 2D programming.
Self-driven, autonomous, and experienced in participating in a range of shop needs.
Maintains safe operation standards by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Additive Applications Specialist 2D Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to pick up software used in designing and building.
Experience being a problem solver.
Experience outsourcing for manufacturing.
Comfortable and experienced with complete ownership of scheduling, execution, and final delivery of prototyping tasks.
Hours : Morning shift (Negotiable) 40 hours
