Laboratory Technician

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire position at cutting-edge client in Wilmington, NC.

Pay Rate : $20-22 / hr

Schedule : 2nd shift, M-F, 2pm-10 : 30pm

Overview

This client is a global environmental services provider offering environmental planning and permitting, measurement and analytical services, and environmental resiliency and sustainability solutions.

In this role you'll be working with cross-functional teams to test and analyze various soil, water and air samples . This role will give you an opportunity to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organizational skills while helping to protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil that feeds us.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare samples and reagents for analysis
• Perform sample extractions
• Maintain lab cleanliness and organized records
• Support inventory and consumables management
• Adhere to quality and safety protocols

Qualifications :

• BA / BS in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently
