HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
You will work as a team to support and monitor our clients by assessing incoming referrals for meeting admission criteria for the detox unit, performing basic health screenings, screening for risk of self-harm, monitoring for safe detoxification and potential withdrawal using evidence-based assessment tools.
Essential Duties :
- Perform basic health screenings.
- Perform Nursing Assessment.
- Implement nursing policy and protocol.
- Medicate as indicated for withdrawal symptoms following the condition specific protocols initiated by the on-call provider(s).
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 2-year nursing degree from an accredited professional nursing program or certificate of completion from a 12-month accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota without encumbrance.
- Clear DHS background study
- Valid Drivers License with an acceptable driving record
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
