Job Description :
Position Title : Discipleship pastor
Reports To : Lead pastor
STAFF CULTURE :
- Support and Live out our Church wide Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Vision : Invite friends into Family
- Mission : To Reach people far from God and teach them to Follow Jesus
- Values : Jesus. Hospital. Family.
- Use a Family Card.
- Be an active part of our community. Regular attendance of church services and events Church membership : if not currently a member, the individual is willing to become one
- Model Biblical Integrity and a Pursuit of Jesus hours a day, 7 days a week.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversee all communities at FIVE. Curriculum for all groups. Invest into current and future leaders. Create a pipeline for future leaders.
Meet with all leaders individually twice a year. Conduct a leader training twice a year. Oversee onboarding in all groups 4x a year.
- Oversee Member onboarding and engagement. Conduct Starting Point 3 times a year. Oversee Membership interviews. Oversee Member engagement.
- Oversee Missions. Communicate with all missionaries. Oversee one-two mission trips a year. Present a budget yearly for the Elders.
Create a mission policy for FIVE.
Oversee Pastoral care.
Funeral Services. Pre-marital counseling and Weddings.
Preach as needed. When scheduled by the Lead pastor.
Work Schedule : minimum of hours
