Job Title : Roofing Inspector (Storm Expertise - Multifamily & Commercial Properties)

Location : United States (Travel Required - Ideal candidates live within 30 miles of a major airport)

Job Type : Full-Time

Travel : 75% of the time (nationwide)

Salary : Competitive, based on experience

Hustad is a trusted leader in roofing and exterior services, serving multifamily and commercial property owners across the United States.

We specialize in storm damage assessment and high-quality roof repairs. We are seeking an experienced Roofing Inspector to inspect multifamily and commercial properties, including steep-slope roofs, and document damage for insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct detailed inspections of multifamily and commercial properties, focusing on roof conditions and storm damage (hail, wind).
  • Identify leaks, common roof deficiencies, and structural concerns, documenting findings for clients and preparing reports.
  • Make minor repairs as needed during inspections.
  • Assess and document wind and hail damage for insurance claims.
  • Set up and climb ladders to access roofs and perform inspections; operation of man-lifts is preferred.
  • Travel throughout the United States, working independently to inspect properties and communicate with clients.
  • Utilize smartphones to operate roofing software for inspection documentation.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 6 years of commercial roofing experience , with expertise in storm damage (wind, hail, etc).
  • Willingness to travel 70% to 80% of the time across the U.S.
  • Ability to identify roof leaks, common deficiencies, and perform minor repairs.
  • Proficiency in setting up and climbing ladders; experience with man-lifts is a plus.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Familiarity with smartphone technology and roofing software is preferred.
  • A background in maintenance, general repair, or construction is preferred.
  • Must speak English fluently and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Ideal Candidate :

  • Lives within 30 miles of a major airport . This is very important for traveling efficiently.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently while on the road.
