SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR
As a Social Services Director you will strive to ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by making sure our residents social and emotional needs are met during their stay, coordinating resident discharges, participating in resident care conferences all the while making sure residents feel comfortable and safe.
To be eligible for consideration applicants should have :
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a similar field.
Prior Social Services Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, or(2) years of experience in a Social Worker role preferably in a healthcare setting.
Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
The Social Services Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Social Services Department and collaborate with other departments to ensure quality resident care.
You will comply with all relevant regulations and policies to ensure facility compliance, and develop care plans based on residents needs and abilities.
Other duties as directed by facility Administration.
