This position is in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
This is an employed civilian Physician (Nephrology) position that affords job security, a competitive salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, student loan repayment, up to 26 days paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package.
Ft .Eisenhower is adjacent to Augusta, GA famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft. Eisenhower has a moderate year-round climate and offers close proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains.

Responsibilities
As a Nephrologist you will :
- Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultation services.
- Refer patients to other specialty clinics, as required, for further evaluation either on outpatient or inpatient basis to determine the best diagnosis and treatment.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, necessary to complete medical evaluations of cases.
- Participate in the medical and allied health education programs.
- Responsible for over-site of medical care given by midlevel providers working on the Inpatient Medicine Service.
- Interface with military healthcare providers in the long-term management of transplant patients who have returned to network healthcare.
- Guide, instruct, and train trainees in the medical and allied health education programs.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
